Where can I learn German free and effectively?
I have always wanted to learn the german language but I don’t wanna pay to learn it and I don’t want it to take forever. Where can I go to learn it for free and effectively?

Unfortunately, what you’re asking for most likely does not exist. Learning a language takes time, and a little money. Invest in some good beginner and grammar books. You might be able to find some information here:

Well, a FUN and FREE way to learn German would be to find a German Heritage Society or a German Stammtisch in your State, also search for German Language Meet-up or Conversation Groups or simply search for German Society in your State.
Within these groups you could not only learn and practice your German they also provide insight into the German culture.

Most local libraries carry books and software for different languages. You can borrow books and the corresponding audio and learn it on your own and for free.

Hi. Well, I am a fluent german speaker, and I began with livemocha.com. It is 100 percent free and works like Rosetta Stone. It is an actual class but you do not take tests or anything. If you want extra help email me and I can help you with that but that website is a great start.
