What influence does English have on the German language?
What kind of influence does English have on German. How has English changed the german language?
In modern technology, particularly telecommunications and computing, quite a lot. However, and this may be a bitter pill, much of the English language derives from German and Nordic languages. There is also a French, and Latin influence. These influences make English one of the richest languages in the world.(number of words). Historically English hasn’t changed the German language, it’s the other way round.
